Environmental Policy

Hotel Casa La Fe is aware of the impact of its activity on the environment and undertakes to incorporate concepts and practices of environmental care into its daily processes which guarantee a sustainable development of the environment. The hotel will comply with all existing legislation in environmental matters and will promote an organizational culture focused on the care and preservation of the environment.

This commitment includes:

  • Ensure environmentally friendly behavior of all our functions and activities.
  • Adopting measures to reduce the environmental impact produced by the use and manipulation of chemicals, water and energy consumption and improper waste management is our main task.
  • Periodically review the state of environmental protection to verify progress made and make adjustments in our objectives and goals to minimize the environmental impact caused by our activities. This review makes possible the development of environmental programs aimed at continuous improvement and prevention of pollution.
  • Comply with existing legislation and environmental regulations that are applicable to our activities.
  • Work to raise awareness and communication about the environment to all our work team, and motivate them so that their behavior in their jobs reflect that environmental awareness.
  • To allow the prevention of pollution from the implementation of programs for the management of the possible auditory, visual and atmospheric pollution generated in the Hotel.
  • To continuously improve, based on compliance with established environmental programs.

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) have joined forces to invite tourists to become responsible travellers and help fight trafficking. The campaign - Your actions count: Be a responsible traveller - aims to raise awareness among tourists around the world on how they can help fight trafficking by encouraging a better understanding of the major criminal implications hidden behind some decisions taken while travelling. With more than 1 billion tourists travelling the globe each year the tourism sector needs to acknowledge its great potential in making a change.
